Date: December 1, 2011, 2-4pm
Location: Roundhouse Community and Arts Centre
Website: www.womeninleadership.ca

The goal of Celebrating 125 Years of Leadership in Vancouver is to unite people from all backgrounds, to highlight the achievements of accomplished Aboriginal women leaders of all ages, and to create a ripple effect of success for the next generation of Aboriginal youth. In addition this event will celebrate the creativity and range of arts, culture and heritage of Aboriginal peoples. This year, over 250 people will be able to attend this free event.

The Women in Leadership Foundation aims to connect people from different cultures and generations, to share knowledge and to inspire each other through the dialogue at the Forum. A panel presentation features female role models who will share powerful, authentic messages of empowerment and strength highlighting how they overcame challenges to be successful in their careers. The scholarship award presentation follows recognizing two rising Aboriginal youth leaders in BC.
