The 23rd edition of the Dancing on the Edge Festival takes to the streets with an expanded program of dance commissions, workshops and presentations for 2011. Highlights include a new extension of Joe Ink’s Move It!, a multi-generational set of community workshops beginning in January and culminating in a performance at the 2011 festival’s Street Dance party, and a new set of site-specific dance commissions created for Queen Elizabeth Park and historic sites within the Downtown Eastside during the 2011 Festival.
