For 2011, In the House Performance Series presents the Vancouver Special Edition. This series of performances sets out to highlight Vancouver’s cultural identity by looking back on Vancouver’s history. Performances will spotlight various ethnic and cultural groups that have had an important impact on Vancouver’s history and culture. Selected performances include a showcase of Blues music, a spotlight on the Vancouver’s Italian community and culture, a screening of films by local artists, Iranian storytelling, an evening of choreography that celebrates Vancouver, and more.
